Welcome to Blue Nine Designs! In case you are wondering where the name came from I’ll explain. I like idioms and “Once in a Blue Moon” has a special meaning to me. I love the expression “being on cloud nine” so that is where the other half came from.

My site has both original oil paintings and giclee’s available for purchase. The subjects are things I am inspired by that I can’t not paint! I also love doing commissions and trying to capture in paint what people want to express about themselves, their animals, or something special to them.
