I really love doing these! I can work from your photos, composites of several photographs, fabric swatches, magazine pictures, and /or paint samples to come up with a composition. Here is how it works:

• Send me your photos, etc (email or snail mail) with your ideas of what you want rendered. Backgrounds/settings can be changed easily with paint!

• Specify the size of the painting desired.

• Define the most important element(s) you want to emphasize (these might be colors, soul, mood, or a combination).

I’ll come up with a preliminary sketch and send it to you for any changes along with an estimate on the total cost. When we’ve agreed on a general composition I’ll provide a final price.

Before starting I’ll need a deposit for ½ of the total. The other half is due when the painting is completed. It typically takes 4-6 weeks for me to complete an oil painting. We can discuss shipping or pick up arrangements anytime.
